GoFraudMe.com does not, as a rule, share the personal information of sources nor complainants. As a journalistic publication, any submissions to the site or via Facebook message to the GoFraudMe page should be considered anonymous unless otherwise expressly stated, however statements may be used in future reports at the discretion of GoFraudMe.com.

GoFraudMe is a media property operating in the Commonwealth of Virginia, and as such subject to reporter’s privilege laws in that jurisdiction, as well as federal First Amendment law. Any telephone calls made to or from GoFraudMe may legally be recorded under Virginia’s one-party consent law; note GoFraudMe.com as a rule does not record any calls made to the tip line, except in such cases as it is newsworthy and necessary for any reports appearing herein.

Emails to GoFraudMe.com can be used at the site’s discretion if they add to newsworthy status of a particular story, without permission from the sender. By sending an email to GoFraudMe.com via any established and/or publicly displayed email address(es) associated with the site, you agree to such use as the site deems necessary for journalistic purposes. We adamantly defend the anonymity of sources under accepted journalistic ethics standards, however we reserve the right to share information received via email and/or telephone, with attributes to the source in such cases as we feel leaving out the source would be a violation of journalistic integrity.

As previously mentioned, GoFraudMe.com does not entertain any threats of lawsuits unless sent directly from a lawyer licensed to practice in the the originating jurisdiction, although lawyers licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia are obviously preferred.
