The Internet Was Not Having This Ratchet $20 Million GoFundMe for a Doctor’s Wedding

Ratchet $20 million Gofundme

By the time we were tipped to this hot mess, it was already moments away from disappearing off GoFundMe forever. No worries, we salvaged a cached copy. Sadly, minus the comments. Oh, the comments.

We’ll get to that in a second. First, the $20 million campaign:

Greeting and Salutations Dearest Friends and Family Members:

My name is…Dr. Erinn Michelle Haynes and on Tuesday, July 4th, 2017, I will be dearly betrothing my dearest Boaz…Mr. Julian Royce Wooding!!!

I am highly interested in marrying him and I am kindly requesting your financial assistance!!! We would like to get married in Chicago, Illinois’, Navy Pier Botanical Gardens!!! We would also like for there to be a TON of Fireworks because this is MOST DEFINITELY a CELEBRATION of LIFE!!!

To put this into perspective, the literal ton of fireworks used for the 2015 4th of July display at the National Mall in Washington, DC cost $240,532.50. That leaves plenty leftover from $20 million for, I dunno, a good DJ and stuff.

Facebook detectives very quickly tracked her down and determined that Julian Wooding is actually with someone else who isn’t Dr. Erinn Haynes, but that’s like the least messy part of this mess.

Since we were late to the pitchfork mafia meeting in the comments on this campaign, we’re going to borrow some screenshots from Lisa A La Mode:

Y’all are savage, I just want you to know that.

The Catfish possibility isn’t irrational at all. What kind of doctor puts up a $20 million GoFundMe to marry some dude who is getting married to someone else? The kind trying to troll tf out of people. And it worked.

Nigerian Prince? Jilted ex-lover? Some random hater who has been waiting all her life for a big opportunity to trash this lady? Who knows. Obviously the Internet doesn’t care, they rained down a storm of hate upon her because who wouldn’t.
